Add Google +1 to your website

Google offers new way to indirectly affect your website search results. It's called +1, where bassically people suggest your content, like many others content sharing features, only now your "Google" friends will know, you suggested it and suggested website will have better chances of appearing in their Google seach results.

So what do you have to do, to put +1 on our website? First you'll need to add external javascript to your website like this:
<script type="text/javascript" src=""></script>

Then you need to add g tag or div element with specified class where you want this button to appear:

<!--you can use G tag-->
<g:plusone size="standard" count="true"></g:plusone>
<!--or simple div element with g-plusone class-->
<div class="g-plusone" data-size="standard" data-count="true"></div>

Possible button sizes for size/data-size attributes starting from smallest:

  • small
  • medium
  • standard
  • tall

Attribute count is used to specify whether count should be displayed, so setting count='true' in g tag, or data-count='true' in div element will force button to display count of +1 recommendations.

Additionally href attribute may be provided, if URL you want to recommend is not current website url.
